Dr. Yanna K. Nachtigall, Low Vision Specialist

Dr. Yanna K. Nachtigall received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Duquesne University in 2000. In June 2004 she graduated with clinical honors from the New England College of Optometry. She then continued her training at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry with a residency in Ocular Disease.

Dr. Nachtigall received her Low Vision training under Dr. Richard Shuldiner and is a member of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists as well as the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the Ocular Wellness and Nutrition Society. Her primary focus is on helping people maximize their visual to maintain their independence and quality of life.

In her spare time, Dr. Nachtigall enjoys cooking, exercising, reading, and spending time with her husband Jonathan, their four children. She is an active member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and regularly volunteers at her children’s schools.
