Dr. Peace Anyadike earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Abia State University in Nigeria and has practiced in New York for nearly 10 years. Her passion for eye care began early, inspired by her grandfather’s loss of vision from cataracts—an experience that shaped her commitment to preventing avoidable vision loss and helping patients maintain independence.
After working in diverse optometric settings, Dr. Anyadike developed a strong dedication to advanced low vision care. She is motivated by the daily challenges faced by individuals with significant visual impairment from conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and inherited eye diseases—many of whom have been told “nothing more can be done.”
To serve these patients at the highest level, she completed extensive, advanced training through the Shuldiner Low Vision Training Institute and is proud to be a Fellow of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists (IALVS). She provides customized optical and telescopic solutions to help patients maximize their remaining vision and regain the ability to read, cook, sew, drive where permitted, and resume the activities that give them joy.
Dr. Anyadike proudly serves the communities of Westchester County, New York, with her practice based in New Rochelle.
Outside of patient care, she enjoys cooking foods from many cultures, gardening, and crafting homemade soaps, candles, and body butters. She is also the proud mother of four energetic boys.
