Dr. Marianne McDaniel

Dr. McDaniel uses specialized, custom-designed glasses including bioptic telescopes and prismatics to help people improve their abilities to drive, read their mail, play cards, recognize faces and watch TV as well as improve their independence and quality of life. She provides her unique care to those suffering from conditions including: Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, Diabetes, Cataracts, RP, and Albinism.

She trained extensively with renowned Low Vision Diplomate and IALVS founder, Dr. Richard Shuldiner and became a member of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists.

Dr. McDaniel has been providing primary eye care in the Metro East area for 29 years. She graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 1992. She lives in O’Fallon, IL with her husband and 7 children. She enjoys sewing and all types of needlework.
