Dr. Jill Mogil, Low Vision Specialist

Dr. Jill Mogil earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry.

She is a fellow of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists, a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the AOA Vision Rehabilitative Advocacy Network, the Missouri Optometric Association (MOA), and the St Louis Optometric Society. Dr. Mogil has a particular interest in nutrition as it relates to vision and eye health. As a member of the Ocular Nutrition Society, she keeps abreast of the latest research in the field.

Dr. Mogil serves her patients with dedication and compassion. Her commitment is to help people function better doing the things they love to do. She has trained in new treatments for low vision and provides specialty optical devices to help patients who have decreased vision due to macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, or other eye diseases.

Dr. Mogil is a native of St. Louis, Mo. and is married with four adult children. She likes hiking and traveling, and also enjoys working with lenses behind the camera as a part-time documentary filmmaker.
