Dr. Evan Tirado, Low Vision Specialist

With over 15 years in the optical industry, Dr. Evan Tirado is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry where he was honored with multiple awards and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa National Honor Society. He also served on the executive council for the American Optometric Student Association where he worked on forwarding issues important to optometry and patients nationwide and has lobbied for better patient care and protection with our nation’s lawmakers. Dr. Tirado has completed clinical training in primary care, and binocular vision and rehabilitation and has trained in ocular disease at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Hospital in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Tirado is also a fellow of the International Association of Low Vision Specialists and is the founder of Northeast Low Vision. Dr. Tirado takes the time to evaluate and understand his patient’s individual vision needs as well as their visual goals. Through the use of custom optical solutions and new technologies, he helps provide care to patients challenged by macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, albinism, brain injury, stroke, retinitis pigmentosa, and other conditions.

When not caring for his patients Dr. Tirado is usually found spending time with his wife and baby daughter.

Dr. Tirado is proud to continue providing care for the patients of Dr. Randy Kinkade in his retirement.
