Dr Denick is committed to helping patients that were told nothing else could be done for them and that eyeglasses will no longer help them. As a member of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists, he is trained in the use of state of the art microscopes and telescopes which are used to help patients regain their ability to see people’s faces, read, watch TV, and other daily activities that they were struggling with or lost altogether due Macular Degeneration and other ocular diseases.
Dr Denick has practiced full scope optometry for over 32 years. Along with providing routine eye care, he also fit an array of Contact lenses including scleral lenses and is certified to perform Corneal Refractive Therapy to eliminate nearsighted. He specialized in helping patients with complex visual needs and ocular disease such as Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma, Dry Eye and others.
Dr Denick received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Externships include training in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease at John F. Kennedy and Holy Redeemer Hospitals in Philadelphia, and Pediatrics at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. In addition to being a member of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists, he is also a board certified optometric physician and Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. Dr Denick’s practice is entirely dedicated to Low Vision and improving patient’s vision and lives
In his free time, Dr Denick enjoys spending time with his wife enjoying the wonderful Florida sunshine, traveling and exploring culinary adventures. He has 2 felines which bring him much enjoyment. His hobbies are running, music and playing guitar.
