Dr. Andri Syah, Low Vision Optometrist

Dr. Andri Agus Syah D, FPCO, FAAO was born and raised in Palembang, Indonesia. Upon completion of his High School education, he proceeded to pursue a degree in optometry at Cebu Doctors University in the Philippines. He subsequently undertook a fellowship in low vision at the Asian Eye Institute in the Philippines and a fellowship at the American Academy of Optometry. He is the inaugural first Indonesian Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Furthermore, he serves as an active educator at Ukrida Jakarta and ARO Leprindo Jakarta, where he provides instruction in the field of optometry. Additionally, he serves as a key opinion leader for Alcon and Essilor Indonesia.

Dr. Andri Agus Syah was motivated by the high cost of treatment and the complicated concept of hospitals to open VIO Optical Clinic in 2013. The clinic offers world-class vision therapy services at an affordable cost, with the goal of helping Indonesians to see more clearly.

Since its inception, VIO Optical Clinic has expanded to numerous locations across Indonesia, with the singular objective of bring innovation to help people see better.
